Leaders of Albany, Rensselaer, and Schoharie Counties will join leaders from the medical community to ask Governor Cuomo to direct the NYS Department of Health to oversee a comprehensive assessment of gas infrastructure health impacts until FERC includes equivalent-or-better independently conducted reviews in their determinations. We are also asking that the NY DEC be directed by the Governor to include and consider such assessments in their review of gas infrastructure proposals.
YOUR SUPPORT IS CRITICAL
PLEASE JOIN THIS EFFORT
- You will need to arrive early to clear “airport-like” security. Avoid wearing metal. Travel light.
- Bring SNYFGP or homemade signs (without sticks or metal supports).
- Make a sign that reads: “Health and Safety First”.
- Go to our webpage stopnypipeline.org on Thursday to sign our petition.
We have seen before that large numbers do make a difference.
Please come and bring as many people as possible.
(Parking is available in the Visitors Lot in the Empire State Plaza and on the street on State and Washington Avenues. If parking in the Visitors Lot, take the elevators to the Concourse.
